Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version:

Replaced a TP LInk DS 104 with TL-SG108.

 

No connection to an Imac. when i recoonnected the DS104 all ok green light, connection and Internet. When I connected same cabling to TL-SG108, no green light . no connection. A second Imac identical model machine connects fine through new hub. Any ideas?

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Does the switch get power?

Have you swapped with different Ethernet cables for the test?

What is the NIC on your iMac? Is it on auto-negotiate on your iMac?

Run both ends of the cable to the switch, will the link led come up on the switch?
