Hi everyone. I purchased two RE330s for use with the Archer VX1810v modem/router.

Do these extenders, when used to create an EasyMesh network, have fast roaming functionality?

I looked through the specs but it seems not, but it seems strange to me for a product that supports mesh networks.

AFAIK 802.11r is not implemented in the RE330 FW.

There's more detailed information about 802.11r implementaion in business community - check this thread.

Here's the difference between the different mesh technologies that TP-Link offers.

Here's what EasyMesh is in more details - your both devices (modem/router and REs) should support an Easymesh advertised as Whole Home Seamless Network.

No, RE330 is working as a standalone access point while in AP mode.

Sin. technically, if it supports 802.11k/v/r protocols, as it should for a mesh system, there's no compelling reason not to support fast roaming.
