Hi there, i have and ER605 v1 ( now to the latest firmaware ) i was going throw DHCP not assigning Ip to some devices, and i upgraded to 1.3. the strange thing is that i have some ip cameras, that are fix IP, also i put them in IP Reservation, and still looses IP, i have to go the client section and press reconect.Its really annoying.

 

Also i notice that WPA Authentication Timeout are about 2000 notifications.

I have 120 clients, mostly are IoT devices on separate VLAN to 2.4 GHZ

20 are wired. ( Desktop PC, and some cameras ) the wired ones never looses IP

 

For the AP i have: ( would be great that the "lock to AP" function would be working

3 EAP 225 ( channels 1.6.11 ) low output, 20mhz

2 EAP 245 ( channels 6.11 ) low output, 20mhz

OC200 Controller.

 

i think im not missing anything

 

Last weekend i did a full reboot of the system hoping that the problem went away, but it doesnt.

  @tsmithf for the 2.4ghz problem, just snooping around the omada cloud, i found out that the DNS Server on different VLANS was having problems. so i put static DNS IP, and now it works fine.

  @tsmithf Have you ever tried using your phone to connect to your WiFi? If you can connect to the 2.4GHz SSID and keep connected for a long time without disconnecting, the 2.4GHz WiFi works properly. 

If the phone can be assigned the correct IP address,the DHCP Server works properly.

You can take a testby following these steps.

  @Dahliana Hi there, yes i tried with my phone, but theres another problem there. sometimes the 2.4ghz network loose upload connection. the 5ghz works fine, but the 2.4 is really unstable, this start happening with the update of omada controller to 5.12.9

 

look at this, this is an IP Camera Ezviz, with static IP on the Camera, DHCP Reservation on OMADA, and still looses ip
