Model: OC200   ER605 (TL-R605)   SG2210P
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 2.11.3 Build 20230906 Rel.36272

I thought this would be simple, but I must be missing something.

What are the steps to take in order to route a specific port on the switch to a specific WAN?

I have WAN1 and WAN2 load-balanced, but want port4 on the switch to route to WAN1 no matter what.

@EchoKos Configuring a policy routing on the router should fix it

@ddtt1024 I agree, but I find no routing policies I can create (in Omada) that route to specific WANs.

You have two options

1. if it's just 1 device you wanted hard-routed, create an IP object and assign a Policy Route for that IP grouping which is within your default LAN via WANx

2. if you want any device on that port to get hard routed, then create a new VLAN+subnet, assign it to that port, and create a Network policy route for the VLAN subnet via WANx

I use both and they work just fine for me.

It turns out that when creating the vLAN, the profile wasn't automatically created. I created the profile and assigned it to the port on the switch and now all seems to be working. @d0ugmac1's #2 answer was the rest of the solution.

Pro Tip :)

Depending on what those devices are/are doing, you may want/need to use the DNS server IP's from the desired WAN port as the custom DNS for your hard routed VLAN.

Glad you got this running!
