Hello

just new here today,I set up a new router today but on the tether app it will not accept my password so I changed that ,again it didn't accept the new password,any ideas please

Here's a guide on how to configure a router with the tether app.

Administrative password should not be longer than 14 characters and should not include any spaces.

Thank you for your answer,I used the exact suggestions given by TP-Link and the password change also was accepted but still comes up invalid the 10 attempts it locks you put for 2 hrs

Follow the Tether FAQ - Q4/A4 and Q9/A9 for more details when using tether app.

You can test to login the router via web browser and see if the password you've set is correct.

Check this FAQ for login issues with you router - the final step is to contact your local tech support with the issue description and request for assistance.
