Issues with connecting WiFi Cameras to NVR 1008H
I have been trying to add my CP Plus wifi cameras to this NVR. The problem is that I can add them manually (not auto discovered) but once they are added to this NVR, the status shows Not Connected.
The cameras support ONVIF and they are working in EzyKam+ application and also on Happytime Onvif Client but they are simply not displaying any video when i connect them to this NVR. I have allocated static IPs to all the cameras.
I tried to ping all the cameras from NVR and they are pinging without any packet loss. Vigi Security Manager shows that the cameras are offline. NVRs and all the cameras are on the same network yet its now working.
Please assist to resolve this issue.

What you showed me earlier is that 8000 to get the live stream. Not a standard ONVIF port.
That's not a default ONVIF port 2020.
You should look into that. Until you can ensure that it is using the proper ONVIF, we can discuss this after I examine your adjusted cameras.

I am getting above page when i try to access the camera using https://192.168.1.101:2020 Output of http://ip:2020 is also the same.
Also, i did not defined any port, happytime is picking up the port number 8000 automatically. Managament port in NVR is also mentioned as 8000. I am not much aware of the port numbers though.

You can contact the technical support team regarding this matter. About the firmware and NVR, I think they are intact.
Have you reset the camera before?
Remove the ONVIF connection from any other devices and do this add again on the 1008H. If this persists, see what suggestions you get from the support team.
I think it could be a compatibility issue.

@Clive_A I am also facing same issues with CP Plus CP-E24A model ONVIF Wifi camera. While these cameras are working perfectly fine with HIK Vision NVR.
Request you to please check & help in resolving the issue as I have just purchased TP Link ViGi NVR4032H & it would be a setback to me if the cameras fail to work with this NVR.
Seems that there is some issue with TP Link NVR only as the cameras are working fine with my hik vision NVR.

There is no fix to this yet and may not have any in the future.
The problem resides in the CP Plus IPC. I have checked with the team and we have found many cases with the CP Plus.
It looked like the CP Plus isn't following a proper ONVIF. At least the stream port is not a standard one which is what we believe is the case.
We are following the ONVIF standard. And the VIGI solution is aimed at the business cameras which should follow the industrial standard and comply with the ONVIF.

@Clive_A I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you completely.
The ONVIF Media Service specification is quite clear about this. You NVR is at fault for assuming the RTSP port to be 554 instead of querying the 'GetStreamUri' SOAP endpoint of ONVIF cameras.
The ONVIF Core Specification has no concept of a "standard" port for any protocol.
Both ODM and HIKVision have no trouble connecting to these cameras despite the cameras being third-party to them as well.

I would appreciate TP-Link acknowledging this issue and working towards a fix instead of vaguely mentioning that this might never get fixed.
