Model: VIGI NVR1008H  
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.6

When using the app, i can't seem to view the live feed, or even playback, as I get an error saying "Audio and Video data decryption error". Only seems to have started appearing within the last week. Have tested from another mobile device and seems to be the same on there also. Works absolutely fine when viewing from a PC using the Vigi Security Manager application (windows).

 

Anyone else seen this error and found any solutions?

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Are you able to reproduce all the time?

The senior engineer said this might be an issue with stream and decoding. So wait a while and refresh would fix it.

By now, does it still happen?

I have the same issue. Sometime it works sometimes it doesnt.

  @Chrisweb Same error today. The codec for most cameras is set to 256+ 15fps, but Tapo cameras (H264 only) that are linked to VIGI NVR are showing the same error msg.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Vigi app version is 2.1.10 

Same error happend on Xiaomi Redmi Pad (Helio G99 SoC) but currently seems to be working OK
