Model: EAP650-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3
Even though channel limit is enabled in the OC200 site settings, the route EAP's channel sometimes changes to a channel in the 5.2-5.3GHz band.
Once the root channel is changed, the mesh EAPs be isolated and disconnected.
It seems that if the route EAP's channel is changed to a 5.2-5.3GHz channel, mesh EAPs missing connection because mesh EAPs' channel limit options are working properly.

OC200 site settings: cannel limit <enable>    DFS <enable>

The route EAP's channel setting : 5GHz < fixed channel 100 >.

I don't know when or why the channel changes,
Please let me know how to prevent the automatic channel change.

Best Regards,

  @Ogy

Are your all EAPs EAP650 outdoor devices?

Is the root AP an indoor ap?

Yes, All the EAPs  are EAP650-outdoor and these are EU Version.

Here In Japan as well as in the EU, 5.2-5.3GHz band cannot be used outdoors.

5.6GHz band is allowed in Japan, so I would like to enable channel limit option.

best regards,

Channel 100 is the DFS channel, fix the root AP channel to 36-48, 149-165.

Sorry for my late reply.

After Changing Route 2 EAPs' channel wide apart in 5.6GHz band, it has been stable now.

However, The recommended 6Ghz band channel could not be selected.

Site Setting is below, and 6GHz has been checked.

But in EAP setting, 6GHz channel is not appeared.

Is it because 610-outdoor is mixed? (but now not in used)
