EAP 225 keeps resetting
Connected via POE. No controller software - standalone. This worked fine for a year but suddenly has taken to spontaneously resetting itself to factory defaults. Any ideas?

Hello @inglewood,
Thanks for reporting this issue in the community.
May I know the hardware and firmware version of your EAP225?
How did you know the EAP has auto reset issue? Is this issue reproduced stably?
How did you power on the EAP225? With the Original Power Adapter? Or the POE switch?

@Hank21 Not really sure of the firmware or hardware version (I don't have access right now). It is powered by POE. What happens is the SSIDs disappear and after logging into the access point you can see it is reset to factory defaults. It occurs randomly. I can tell you it is being used by at least 15 people, some of whom are streaming TV. Is it possible that it's being hit too hard?

Assume you changed the default password after setting up the AP? Is this the ceiling or outdoor version?

@d0ugmac1 It is the ceiling version and the password has been changed. I thought at first it might be someone messing with it but I don't see how.

What is the rest of the architecture? Is this the only TPlink device? Is it plugged onto a 3rd party router that also has its own wif?
Also try with a ridiculously long password set.

@d0ugmac1 Its connected to a POE switch. The switch is connected to the hi speed modem. I think its just failing so I'll replace it.
