Hello @leonard_oreste,
Thank you so much for taking the time to report the issue to our community!
1. May I know from which firmware version you tried upgrading to the 1.4.0 Build 20231114 but failed?
You need to upgrade the ER7206 to the ER7206(UN)_V1_1.3.0 Build 20230322 firstly, please refer to the Release Note:
2. Please try a different browser or use incognito mode when upgrading the firmware for ER7206.
3. We suggest upgrading the firmware when on LAN and logging into the controller locally. You'd better keep the Controller with the latest firmware version:

the prerequisite firmware was not on ER7206 firmware download page.
https://www.tp-link.com/br/support/download/tl-er7206/#Firmware
I found it on the community web site.
Thanks!
One other issue, now when I try to access ER7206 management page, I got a broken https connection.
Do you know how to fix it without disabling https?
Just let you know that you cannot disable HTTPS.
Please bear in mind you are supposed to read the release note before any update. We are not obliged to inform you of the red highlighted notes when you perform the upgrade. The release note has already warned you.
There is no way to fix it. The certificate is not trusted so Chrome mechanism deems it is unsecure but it does not mean the connection is unsafe. It is still encrypted.

Hi @Clive_A!
Thanks for your reply.
I´ve not disabled HTTP and can access the admin web page, but my browser reports that admin page certificate is invalid.

I have no idea about what you are talking about. It'd usually be "Not Secure". Can you show a picture of the issue?
