Many of my devices do not stay connected?

I spent the day installing the ER605 to replace the Verizon FIOS router.

Most devices are connecting as needed and all computers are getting Internet.

I have two servers in my basement that many of my IOT devices (cameras, sensors, switches, etc) need connection. But connection is spotty. Sone will work for a few minutes or more, then drop connection.  Other devices just won't connect to my MQTT server.  But some do.

I see this on the dashboard of my Software Controller which I suspect is the root of my issue:

I can't find which devices triggered a failure.  I am using WPA-Personal and the same password as I did on the Verizon router.  And, as I said, many devices work. Intermittently.

In "Devices" and "Clients", everything says "Connected" - even the devices that are presenting this problem say "Connected.

Below is my device map. The servers that clients can't maintain a connection are in the "Client Group", all on Ethernet and all with fixed IP addresses.  The devices having a problem staying connected, if they connect at all, are on WiFi and on the Office or Basement EAP.

Have I missed something in my configuration?

  @Hank21 Thanks. Found it.

I reduced my Radios to "Low power" and more devices are connecting.

Still having some clients unable to connect to the router.  I replaced the ER605 router for the ER7206 and after a week, all clients are still connected.

  @SteveMann Apparently, I can only include one image to a post. Here is the map mentioned in the prior post.

Hi @SteveMann,

What is the firmware version of your controller? Did you set Lock to AP feature?

What is the model number and the firmware version of your EAPs?

The PMF feature was supported since Omada Controller v5.7, which requires to upgrade the EAP device firmware to take effect. So changing PMF from "Mandatory" to "Capable" for testing, if your IoT still has connection issue with the "Capable" option, you may disable PMF for the IoT network.

  @Hank21

Thanks for the feedback.
Everything is new, purchased and installed over the past two weeks.

Omada (software) Controller, Version 5.13.22
EAP610(US) v2.0, Firmware Version: 1.1.4 Build 20230922 Rel. 68311
EAP610(US) v3.0, Firmware Version: 1.3.2 Build 20230414 Rel. 54437
EAP615-Wall(US) v1.0, Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 20230330 Rel. 73999

I just realized that the EAP610s were two different versions (v2.0 or v3.0). The V2.0 was received from Amazon just two days ago.  Is it worth the effort to return it to Amazon and see if the replacement is v3.0?

I can't find the PMF setting. I would expect it to be in the device, config, advanced tab?

Hello @SteveMann,

You can go to Settings > Wireless Networks > WLAN, choose the SSID and go to Advanced Settings, here you can change the PMF option.
