2.5gbps uplink on EAP670 speed not as expected
I have two EAP670 currently connecting to my TL-SG3210XHP-M2 using the 2.5 poe+ port. These two EAP works find on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz band and can give 600-800 gbps on my phone if I'm in the same room which is good. However, I'm expecting multiple device connecting to EAP670 can utilize its 2.5gbps uplink port that connect to my 2.5gbps switch.
I experimented with 2 mobile devices that connected to EAP670 and run iperf3 client that connect to two different servers that also are on TL-SG3210XHP-M2. If I run 1 mobile device I get 600-800mbps and if I run 2 mobile devices I get a total of 600-800mbps. I made sure the 2.5gbps port on my TL-SG3210XHP-M2 is fine by testing on my PC so I'm wondering if EAP670 is just not capable to utilize its 2.5gbps port due to hardware limitation or maybe there's some setting I need to enable. Is 600-800mbps the reading on the port of your TL-SG3210XHP-M2 where the EAP670 is connected to?

@KJK the reading is on my client (iphone and ipad) both using the iperf3 application.
Iphone: iperf3 -c server1
Ipad: iperf3 -c server2
server1 and server2 are both connected directly to TL-SG3210XHP-M2.

To clarify, the reading on the iperf app on my iphone and ipad if not run simultaneously is about 600-800. If I run both client at the same time the sum of the bandwidth is still 600-800 which means EAP670 just can't use its 2.5gbps port practically.

Check the reading on the port when you run two iperf3 tests simultaneously with both wireless devices connected to a single AP.

@KJK What's the best way to check the reading on the port? Do I need to use the cli on the switch? I don't see per port traffic data in Omada.

Sorry, I can't answer this question. My switches are not under Omada Controller. I can log into their UI directly. You may try to SSH into your switch and use the CLI, but I don't what commands you would need to run.

@KJK the switch statistics on Omada is not real time, it gave me total transmitted data in a time range and it's similar to what I see in iperf client/server. I don't think the switch is the issue since I have tested the 2.5gb port using my desktop pc. The EAP 670 access point seems to not capable of utilizing 2.5 gbps uplink (I've turned on OFDMA). I google searched about this and found many people complained about the same issue on reddit.

In my opinion, you need to check the speed on the port. I actually use Zabbix for it. It is a monitoring tool. It does all math for me and shows graphs.

@KimcheeGUN No, I'm fine with single client performance at 600-800mbps, however, I'm also expecting 2 clients can download/upload 600-800mbps from my servers that was connected to my tl-sg3210XHP-M2 since the switch has 2.5gbps poe+ port (connect to EAP670) and 10gbps sfp+ port (2 sfp+ connect to 2 of my server).
All in all, I want to know if I'm able to use the 2.5gbps uplink, otherwise I'm going to either return EAP670 or switch or both.
