Regionalization via Cloud Connect site?

What does this mean really? What is the 'isolation'?

I think I figured it out, it just means the generic URL is now redirected to a number of helper sites.
https://omada.tplinkcloud.com --now maps to--> https://use1-omada-cloud.tplinkcloud.com
In my case/region. And the warning message is just to speed up the initial connection and avoid the HTTP redirect.
