SX3016F after firmware upgrade port changing state UP/DOWN continously
Hello,
I set the switch for the basic working.
It uses general fw 1.0.0 Build 20210730 Rel.65115 everything works fine.
After upgrade to fw (TL-)SX3016F(UN)_V1_1.20.1 Build 20231030 or TL-SX3016F(UN)_V1_1.0.2 Build 20230702 the port changes the state to UP/DOWN continously and i can not communicate with it, only with MGM console.
If I change back the original fw all works fine again!

The scenario is 1 Zyxel 1930-52 (Fw: V4.70(ABHU.6) ), 1 SX3016F (Fw: 1.20.1 Build 20231030 Rel.65774).
The two switches connected with module TL-SM5310-T and CAT7 copper cable.
The setup works fine now.

What are the modules you use?
Can you rule out this is a problem with the module and cable compatibility issue? Firmware may change the parameters and making them go bad. Use the our modules and this should not be a problem.
I recommend you contact the support about this for further investigation.

Hello, I'm using CN-0358VV DELL DAC cable for uplink and 053HVN-HPC for connect to endpoint devices such as Broadcom Adv. Dual 10Gb Ethernet (shipped from DELL {PowerEdge R650xs}) So I don't know.
Have you contacted the support regarding this?
Note we don't guarantee any support/compatibility to third-party modules. We, so far, have not ruled out the possibility of the compatibility issue.
