Model: EAP110
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

This information has not been verified by Ubiquiti, but I believe it is correct. This is also specific to Ubiquiti's inexpensive adapters, and not their switches.

I purchased a EAP773 (BE11000) and a Ubiquiti U-POE++ adapter to power it. The POE++ adapter is rated for 60W, but the EAP773 is unable to recognize it as a 802.3bt compliant power source, and so it complains about "Insufficient Power to the Device" when you try and configure/enable the radios.

I believe this is because the Ubiquiti U-POE++ adapters are just passive devices, and don't go through the full 802.3bt negotiation that an active device would.

So this is a warning to potential purchasers, I don't believe the Ubiquiti U-POE++ adapter will power any TP-Link devices that require a 802.3bt compliant power source.

Oh, and can a forum admin update the list of Models. I was unable to choose the EAP773 and instead had to use used a EAP110 to make this post.
