@Hank21 Hi, this release really brings the 235-wall almost up to date.  I do have a few questions though:

1. I see support for 802.11k/v, but no mention of 802.11r, which as I understand it are all required for the seamless roaming feature.  Is 802.11r already supported or coming?

2. I assume the prel-release US_EU version is no good for CA units who want to test?

3. Does this AP have the resources to ever support Mesh, as has recently been done for the 615-wall?

Hi @d0ugmac1

1. EAP235-Wall doesn't support 802.11r yet. But for Omada EAP, currently the 802.11k and 802.11v seamless roaming also provide seamless switching to the access point with optimal signal when moving between APs. The EAP235-Wall with the above firmware has supported the seamless roaming feature.

2. Correct, please ensure that you know which version (EU/US/CA/JP/EG) you shall use before you download the firmware.

3. The mesh feature has not been added into the mentioned firmware. Please keep an eye on any update in the future.

@Hank21 Is there a version for the Canadian version or can I install the US version? I'm not actually in Canada or the US haha.

Hi @nixcamic

To make sure your EAP will work stably, generally only the firmware from the same region will be suggested to be uploaded/upgraded unless there is a generic version.

You may wait for the firmware upgrade on the official website according to the EAP region version.
