Anyone familiar with the TP_TX_VAP SSID that is broadcast from the EAP773/783 Wifi7 models?  Seems like something that should be hidden at the very least.  Figured I would ask here since there is only one mini-thread on Reddit that asks about this at all and no one seems to know.

  @MikeyMike79

The reason for broadcasting this SSID - TP_TX_VAP on WiFi 7 EAP at present is to ensure compatibility with some cellphones or NICs supporting the 6 GHz band, such as the Samsung S21, etc. As they may not be able to detect other 6GHz SSIDs when the TX_VAP SSID is hidden. And deleting or disabling the TX_VAP SSID can cause the connected devices to disconnect from other SSIDs.

With their system and firmware upgrades, the mentioned devices have recently been able to adapt to the hidden 6GHz SSID. Yet, we are still assessing the compatibility of this and evaluating the plan to hide this TP_TX_VAP SSID in future firmware updates. For any further queries on this, please pay attention to the latest posts on the forum.

SSID - TP_TX_VAP, after consulting with the team, is considered as safe as device association is forbidden and does not contain any sensitive information.
