Hello,

I have been using Archer C1200 for a few years and working properly.

I am planning to change ISP next month and I do not want to use the ISP-provided router.

I've been told that any router can be used on this ISP's network as long as it is capable of enabling VLAN tagging for ID 6 on the WAN port (the internet service is DHCP).

Is it possible for the Archer C1200 to do the above so I can continue using it?

I know about the IPTV/VLAN section available in the Advanced/network menu, but I am understood it actually refers to tag only LAN1 to 4 ports but not the WAN port...

Can someone confirm ?

Thanks,

Loic

Hi, in the IPTV/VLAN section, you could change Mode from Bridge to your ISP(If it is listed) or Custom, then you will be able to set Internet VLAN ID, which is for WAN.
