Bad Firmware for EAP235-Wall
Omada app alerted me to new firmware release for EAP235-Wall - 3.2.2 Build 20240407 Rel. 70269.
This is not listed on the firmware page for this device.
After installing it WiFi clients struggled to load web pages. Reverting to 3.1.1 Build 20230414 Rel. 54637 resolves the issue.
Anyone else having this issue, or is it something about my network and devices?

I would share the results of speed(dot)cloudflare(dot)com but after 10 minutes it still hasn't completed the test which normally takes a couple of minutes. The page won't even load fully. Same for speedtest(dot)net. I also can't load the TP-Link forum pages or Omada cloud controller pages over WiFi. They never complete loading.
I am not seeing any packet loss when pinging 8.8.8.8 100 times over WiFi.
The signal strength isn't significantly different so probably nothing to do with the radios.
Reverting to 3.1.1 resolves the problem so it is clearly something happening with 3.2.2 that is causing problems with loading pages.
Is there some kind of http or tcp security going on inside the EAPs that might cause this? Or could it be something to do with any of the new features introduced by the firmware?
I couldn't post before because I had mentioned websites using their domain names. This is an insane restriction. Why are you putting such hurdles in place to make giving feedback so tedious?

I am on 3.1.99 20230424 49896 for my fleet of 235wall-v1's (CA) and have been pretty happy. This was a beta load supporting PPSK.

Could you also share your controller version and what kind of controller you are using now? And what about the SSID settings, are there any advanced settings on SSID? Please go to SSID page and provide some screenshots of the setting page.
And will the same issue occur when you try to reboot the EAP?

We have tried to upgrade the EAP235-Wall from 3.1.1 to 3.2.2 in controller 5.7, 5.9 and above controller. There is no similar issue about accessing the website. Could you try to forget and re-adopt the EAP and try again? Or share some screenshots about the setting on your EAP?

Yes had the same experience.
Setup:
Omada Controller Version: 5.13.22
Internet Connection: 1 Gbit/s down/ 280 Mbit/s up.
- All my EAP 235 are : EAP235-Wall(EU) v1.0
- 3 Outdoor AP's EAP225-Outdoor(EU) v1.0 powered via POE from 3 of these EAP 235
- all EAP's powered through POE from a TL-SG2428P v1.0 (Firmware 1.1.10)
- Flat Network, No VLAN, so no extra settings (gave up on it as it broke too often)
Rolling Upgrade via Omada Controller - then hell broke loose.
Was crazy to "debug":
Oookla Speedtest showed "full speed",
Business VPN worked flawlessly
but Netflix, Amazon Prime, MagentaTV all failed
Not even Amazon Website was "reachable"
The issue was only on "WIFI" (independent of 2.4 or 5 Ghz)
Clients on EAP235 (Firmware 3.2.2) affected, clients on Outdoor 225 (Firmware 5.1.6) unaffected.
Speedtest on some clients (all with full signal: 866 on both TX/RX, SNR > 50 dB) showed that "upload" is affected: Speedtest download > 500 MBit/s whilst upload <10MBit/s
Connecting the same clients via Ethernet : no issues.
Rolling back to 3.1.1 fixed the WIFI issues (same client as above : 594Mbit/s down / 263Mbit/s up)

Contoller is OC200 v1.0 running firmware version 1.29.4 Build 20240304 Rel.54362 and Controller version 5.13.30.20.

The issue persists after a reboot of the EAP.

@Hank21 I tried upgrading the EAP to 3.2.2 then forgetting it from the controller and re-adopting. The result is the same - unusable network for wireless clients.
3.1.1 good. 3.2.2 bad.

@Hank21 I don't think I mentioned this, but perhaps relevant - a wired client connected through one of the ethernet ports on the EAP is not affected, which suggests an issue limited to the WiFi rather than the whole ethernet stack.

Two things to check/try then:
1. Disable 6ghz on SSID definition used for these class of AP
2. Use WPA2 only authentication, ie no WPA3
