  @MR.S Not at the moment since this was for a friend of mine. I'm planning to go back on Thursday. His camera is a GMK which I never heard of before. However, I ordered his same exact camera so I can test it. I have a Unifi Wifi adapter but i should see if the higher security encryption would work.

  @Fae Ah, i need to update you on something. When I saw your message, I was litterally falling asleep last night so I didn't really saw everything. I noticed that you said about the encryption that its to be configured below wpa2. Its def weird that this camera would require that since I've always installed cameras for my customers and friends using wpa2 standdard. I have Ring doorbelll camera and using Unifi products which is a more advanced equipment than TP-Link. He has a Chinese made camera (GMK)

What I did is that I bought the same exacdt camera and I went to the Unifi dashboard. Sadly the camera would not work because it doesn't have WPA-PSK. Luckly, I already installed the TP-link access point since based on the information that you able to provide it, it does have the required step.

For some odd reason, I initally got him a unifi wap but the unit was defective, took it back, and my gut feeling told me that I should get a TP-Link.

I'll def it change the encryption setting when it get back to his house
