Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.4

When looking at the download page for the Controller software, the latest version is 5.14.26.1.  When looking for software for the EAP670, that download page lists 5.13.30.8 as the latest version of the Controller.

I've been having stability problems with an EAP670 when that device is being managed by Controller version 5.14.26.1.  These issues do not occur when the device is not being managed by a controller (i.e. using the device's own configuration page).

Is there a known compatibility issue between the EAP670 and Controller version 5.14.26.1?

What exactly is the instability issue? Will the EAP670 disconnect from the controller frequently? What is the present status of the change? Will the wireless clients repeatedly fail to connect to the EAP670? Do you just forget the EAP670 and the problem goes away? It does not have the compatibility issue with the controller version 5.14.26.1. The controller's up-to-date firmware is not available on the website; I will notify the relevant department.

1 Please see the links in my first post in this thread

2 The EAP670 drops out completely, disconnecting from the (SDN) controller, and also stops serving WiFi.  Curiously, according to the lights on the switch (TrendNet PoE 2.5gb non-managed) it is still physically connected, drawing PoE, and there is traffic on the link.  I.e. there is a layer-2 connection, but nothing at layer-3 (web UI, ssh).

If left alone it will eventually come back up, after about 1/2 hour.  If power-cycled it comes back up in 3-4 minutes.

3 I've been running without the SDN controller for a week and the device itself, unmanaged, has been completely stable.

4 As in (2), the EAP670 "crashes" and stops providing WiFi.

5 I completely removed the SDN controller software, factory reset the EAP670, and configured it using the device's onboard web UI. In that state it has been stable for a week.  I am now going to reinstall the SDN controller and adopt the device to see if I can recreate the instability.

6 I'm using the SDN controller on Windows 11, not a controller hardware device.
