Looking for a way to either disable wifi or block internet from the app trying to avoid unplugging internet cable for instance.

Disabling Deco mesh WiFi from Deco app is easy: just change Main Network password and don't share new password with anyone. To enable WiFi, restore Main Network password to what it was originally.

 

Technically, that does disable access to Deco WiFi, not WiFi signal itself, but I think this will be OK with you.
