Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 5.1.6

Hi everyone!
I have configured some EAP225 managed by a PC controller.
2 Windows 11 laptops with realtek wifi device hangs and freezes after connecting to wifi: sometimes the connection works for a few minutes but often the laptop freezes immediately.

In the network card settings of a laptop I forced the use of the 20MHz channel and it seems stable.

Has the same problem happened to others?

Greetings

Hi  @LukLa

What does crash mean? you can't do any operation on the PC? or just no internet access?

Will this issue happen on other wireless clients, such as mobile phones?

If this only happens on the two PCs, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Update your drivers: The Wi-Fi adapter's driver might be outdated or incompatible with Windows 11. Visit the manufacturer's website to download and install the latest drivers.

  2. Check for Windows updates: Microsoft regularly releases updates to fix bugs and improve performance. Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.

  3. Disable and re-enable your Wi-Fi adapter: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Disable the Wi-Fi and then re-enable it after a few seconds.

  4. Reset your network settings: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset. This will remove then reinstall all your network adapters, and set other networking components back to their original settings.

  5. Perform a clean reboot.
