Hi everyone.

We just bought this router because the load balancing/wan backup capabilities

and I'm trying to setup a no-ip dns using round robin mode, wich require labels to identify

every wan ip location.

Can't find any certain documentation about this but the presumed format is (as example and with spaces because won't let me post otherwise):
wan1 domain name:  tplink.noip.net @ label1
wan2 domain name: tplink.noip.net @ label2

The " @ " happens to be an illegal character for the form (and for titles here in the forum), as can be seen on the emulator.

So, if this is the right way to setup a round robin DDNS, can we allow the @ special char to be used here?

Thanks in advance !

Hi @ElMauro

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

We don't support such a configuration or format.

Nor the duplicate DDNS domains.

  @Clive_A

Hi Clive and thanks for the answer, and no offense but I need to disagree with the "don't support" and that's the point of a support feature request :p

I'm sorry if I can't explain what I'm trying to explain, but the dual wan DDNS is indeed supported by the firmware and you can add

a dynamic dns for WAN1 and another for WAN2, normally different ones.
That's where the "label" magic enters in play using no-ip round robin mode.
The only thing not allowing here to use it, is a javascript form check not allowing the @ character to be used, but

as I can show you in this screenshot, I was able to submit the values anyway modifying the form payload and it works as intended.

the service is working as intended, and reflected in the no-ip account updating both ips on the same domain with their respective labels.
This feature request is for the sake of simplicity on others users who could need the same thing and don't wanna mess with payloads and such thing.
