Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am seeking your advice regarding the Auto Channel Selection and Power Adjustment features.

We have numerous access points (APs) in our office, and they are located close to each other. I am interested in the Auto Channel Selection and Power Adjustment features to optimize our network performance.

From my research on the TP-Link website, it appears that the OC200 does not support Auto Channel Selection and Power Adjustment. However, I understand that the Omada Cloud-Based Controller does offer these features. Could you please confirm if the Omada Cloud-Based Controller requires additional hardware like the OC200, or can it be installed directly on a server?

Hi  @eugene123

Cloud-based controller is totally based on a cloud server, no need any hardware device.

But to use cloud-based controller, you will need to purchase licenses for managing devices.
