Model: EAP215-Bridge KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi everyone,

Posting a query here as I would really appreciate some advise on bridging. I have Starlink (gen 2) internet connection at my house and I would like internet availability in the shed (metal) as well which is 60m away from the house. The house and the shed are on different power supplies. I searched online and seems like bridging is the best option.

I get very good internet speed via Starlink >200mbps which is more than sufficient for video conferencing and MS teams meeting. My question is:

1. is the EAP215 a good product for bridging in this situation, and

2. will I still be able to use MS teams and video conferencing for work in the shed?

Look forward to your feedback. Thanks

hi  @Mitts_17

Yes, EAP215-bridge is a good choice.

If the metal shed decreases the signal heavily inside, you may plug an Ethernet port into the EAP215 LAN port and provide Internet connection inside.

You can plug a switch or indoor access point into that cable.

will I still be able to use MS teams and video conferencing for work in the shed?

>>> Yes.
