Firmware Version: 2.2.5 Build 20240522 Rel.75860

Hi,

I was trying to setup a custom DDNS service and was getting the error: WAN: The retcode of Custom DDNS is Error! The retcode is too large, please check your configuration!

Reviewing the credentials for the service and double checking with curl, I confirmed that this was not a problem with my provider.

After checking again the credentials I pasted into the router's UI, I found out that the username was cut down to 32 characters long. And the one provided by my service is actually longer.

Could we have the username field allow longer strings? Until that, I'm unable to use the Custom DDNS feature.

Thanks,

Hi @marc0s

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Are you using it in standalone mode?

The limit is 32 characters in standalone mode. 128 in Omada Controller mode.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes, I'm using standalone mode and I have no plans of switching over, right now.

Thanks.

V5.15.X means the iteration and releases of V5.15.X adapted firmware. We are not able to specify which version and time will implement this feature.

Please pay attention to the firmware release note.
