Does EAP610 AX1800 outdoor access point need a permanent LAN input?
Hi There, I'm about to buy a new outdoor access point which is EAP610 AX1800 . I need to know if this machine needs any LAN input as I am going to install it in my back yard and I have no LAN cable available there but I have power point that I can connect the POE adapter to. as long as we don't need a physical LAN cable! I wached many videos on youtube and also on your website but no one shows the complete installation! Thanks

Yes, subject to what to you are actually have.
You can power it up as a meshed access point, but you will need a second wired AP to act as the root AP for the mesh, and you will need an Omada controller (OC200 or software). Probably not what you were thinking.
Alternatively, you should be able to set it up as a repeater for an existing wifi network you have, as long as it has reasonable signal strength, in standalone mode. There is this thing called Google search which would have led you here....https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/faq/3646/
