IPV6 LAN DHCP

IPV6 LAN DHCP

IPV6 LAN DHCP
IPV6 LAN DHCP

Hello, I have a couple Insight 385 Camera. Right now they are issued IPV4. I enabled IPV6 under Network I selected DHCP because I have an Omada Hardware Controller, Omada Router, Omada Switch and it does have IPV6 setup on WAN and on LAN.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Hi @IndianaSxS

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

IPv6 is not enabled so there is no display of the proper v6.

Does your ISP provide IPv6 on the WAN? Do you examine what you have on the WAN?

Please mosaic your sensitive information. Here is a list of information considered sensitive:

1. Public IP address on your WAN if your WAN is.

2. Real MAC address of your device.

3. Your personal information including address, domain name, and credentials.

For troubleshooting purposes, when a WAN IP is needed, please leave some values visible for identification.

Re:IPV6 LAN DHCP

@Clive_A I posted a screenshot showing I enabled it on the camera. Yes my ISP provides IPV6 for wan on router and it's showing connected in router on Omada. Also I enabled LAN ipv6 and all devices including my iPhone that's compatible with IPV6 have an assigned IPV6 address. Are you sure these cameras work with IPv6 DHCP? What else can I try to do to troubleshoot the cameras not getting an ipV6 like my other devices?

 Thanks,
