I am putting the IP Camera at the front enterance.
I do not LED turn on and off when it detect motion, we got complain from our neighbours.

Q: Can we disable the LED?
We are good with less video quality while LED is off.

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Set it to IR mode. It will not flash the light if it is in infrared mode as the light contradicts.

  @Clive_A Thanks for the idea. I tried to change to Infrared light. But the choice is 'grey out', I cannot select IR choice. It mentions this setting is related to Day/Night Switch. But the Day/Night Switch is also 'grey out' with the choice 'Unified'. See the screenshot.
The only way to turn on IR is by changing the Night Vision Mode to 'IR Always On'.
Please see the screenshots.
Will this setting turn of the LED light always?
My camera is VIGI C540v (UN)

IR should not be on during daylight time. Or your image will be overexposed. Basically, it's a broken image for daylight time.

IR should be on at night without a strong light source interfering with its image.

 

IR should be auto mode which turns on during the night so it shows a black and white image.
