Hi @herbsss
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
As it describes, the literal meaning. You review the incompatible, and it lists things your model does not support. Failed means something is not correctly configured and it is self-evident it supports this feature before you receive a failure.
It does not cause a problem. If it says not supported, it is not supported and you cannot use that feature even if you configure it in the controller mode.

@Clive_A would it be advisable if I have my isp provided router set to bridge mode that is connected to my er7206?

I have this exact same issue, and I cant figure out why I have this coming, I had recently reset my controller and so all devices were reset however prior to that all my devices showed Incompatible Status, after reset now my Router (ER8411 v1.0) and all the APs show that they are Incompatible.
The core issue is there is no guide to find how to fix those issues and direct where they are coming from.
For Example, I check my Incompatible status for the router and in the "Configuration Result Beta" page displays the list of Incompatible configurations,
Bandwidth Control |
The device supports 256 items |
Hovering over the feature listed incompatible would read as to go to "Settings > Transmission > Bandwidth Control" my understandting to fix here.
however my Bandwidth control is disabled so I can see why it is suppose to say its incompatible.

You can basically ignore everything that is listed in the "incompatible" tab, a better title for it would be "Feature List" or similar. Its really listing what each device does and does not support.
The only things that indicate any issues are when stuff is in the "Failed" tab, and usually a device or controller reboot will resolve those.

That's a feature developed by the controller team. You can submit feedback on that.
I am not sure if it is still listed as beta, but that's not definitive due to it being a beta feature.
