Model: ER8411
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.2

Hi there!

I have a network with my ER8411 router and a couple of switches. Since Omada is not allowing us to add a secondary router for DR. My concern is what should I do if I lose my ER8411 and have another ER7206 ready to be installed? how can I be sure I am not losing all the configuration?. I am using a Controller OC300.

Thanks in advance.

Alex

Hi @Alex-Argentina

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

The configs are stored on the controller. What you configure syncs to the routers.

All you need to do is the WAN config which you select either the correct model and migrate the ports, or you set it as Universal.
