Declined Feature request: Easy Managed switch should collect client IP and report to the controller

Unfortunatley not all Omada switches report the client IP addresses to the controller (see screenshot). According to TP-Link support, this is correct, as easy manages switches do not report the client IP config to the controller. The request would be that they also report the clients IP config, so anyone can see the client IP address in the controller portal.

I've updated the firmware on all my devices and enabled ARP Detection on each of my VLAN Interfaces but I'm still not seeing the IP address of clients on my ES205G, ES205GP and ES208G the update 8/7/25 made it sound like this should now work?
Do I need to do anything else or is it the same for everyone and this doesn't work still?
Thanks

@GRL This morning I upgraded my hardware controller ER605 v2.0 (fw2.3.0) and 2x ES205G v1.0 (fw1.0.3) and 1x ES205GP v1.0 (fw1.0.2) and now can see the IPs of all connected clients through these switches.

@zakrzu sorry my mistake controller firmware to 5.15.24.21 and then I was able to update the switch firmware which had been failing up until that point.
After the four devices rebooted I could see all the client IPs connected to the switches where before it had been blank. Didn't have to change anything else in the configuration. Sorry for the confusion.. the gateway wasn't touched.

None of the smaller switches are directly connected to the gateway they are routed through a couple of other managed switches and the smaller ones are usually at the edge of the network. There are no unmanaged components in the network and they are all from the Omada family. Up until yesterday before the latest firmware updates none of the ES components showed the client IPs.... other than the firmware updates to controller and the ES switches nothing else has changed on the network.

I'm running the latest firmware and still don't see and IP addresses on my ES switches still don't show IP addresses
I have ARP Detection enabled:
And this is my device map:
@Psav What am I doing differently to yourself? If you would be kind enough to let me know how you've got this working.
Thanks
