Hi there,

Currently I'm trying to set up a VPN server in my Omada Gigabit VPN Router (ER7206) so that I can access office computers remotely from home. I followed the guide from https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/3025/

Since my ISP (Vodafone Portugal) router (Huawei OptiXstar HG8247X6-8N) doesn't support bridge mode, I tried adding the ER7206 to the DMZ in the ISP router and also tried to forward all needed ports to the ER7206 and none of the approaches seem to work. I try connecting to the VPN but without success and can't find any useful logs in both routers that may help find the issue.

I leave here some screenshots of how I tried to set up port forwarding to the ER7206 and configure the L2TP over IPSec VPN.

The local network is 192.168.100.0/24 and the ER7206 has local IP 192.168.100.1 while the ISP router has IP 192.168.100.254

Has anyone already had this same issue before? Do you know if there is any way to configure a VPN server in ER7206 without having the ISP router in bridge mode?

Maybe I'm missing something while setting up all the configurations in both routers.

Thanks a lot in advance.
