Hi TP-Link

Can you please post the entire changelog of Beta firmwares when you add them to the forum please?  There is evidently a lot more being changed than is reported in the changelogs.

For example, from the forum

\

And the same build, from the omada controller Global>Firmware>Beta Channel

Hi @GRL

I am not aware of any cloud-pushed beta because there is no source for me to learn about it. Cloud source is a different team and they are not a dev but a maintenance team.

The release note is given by the dev and that's the entire changelog. I am not sure if that's something they write later on but my post is the first hand and the note was the first hand from the dev.

Based on what they(the test team who write the release note) suggested, this one is special due to the new changes in the release note format. So they re-wrote it and pushed it with the cloud release for EA.

Might i suggest the procedure of getting the full release notes from dev before posting be updated?  More transparancy over what is being changed is always a good thing - users may be waiting on a particular fix to test that isnt listed but has in fact been implemented...

TP-Link is under a lot of (i believe unnecessary) scrutiny from some governments at the moment, and being more transparent with release notes and changelogs would go some way to improving that image in the public eye.

The dev team are surely logging every change they make to source code - the devs are surely aware of everything that has been changed on each release, so they should be fully capable of giving you all that information along with the .zip file before it gets posted anywhere.  Ultimately its all coming from the same dev team, so the disparity makes no sense.

I realise you cant necessarily do anything about this, but an overhaul of the process is surely a good thing.
