Firmware Version: 3.20.1 Build 20240115 Rel.72847

say, looking at my logs, i have a few devices connected to my switch.. every few minutes they report disconnected, then connected a few minutes later..

the devices definatley are online when reported disconnected..  seems to be a cosmetic error..

will a switch reboot correct this, controller reboot, or some other combinatioon ??

reminds me of the er605 offline online fromn a few firmwares ago i set a reboot weekly schedule..

wasn't sure where to post this, sorry if in the wrong location

(sorry i failed at uploading the screen shot, not sure why it looks so small on my screen)

Hi  @JS_racer

Your SDN devices (gateway routers, switches, or EAP) may have lost contact with the controller if your controller log is filled with messages stating that they are often disconnecting and reconnecting. The following procedures can be used to verify that the controller and SDN devices are connected, even while the internet is unaffected:
    1) Examine the quality of the wire that is plugged into the controller;
    2) Examine the controller's hardware;
    3) Replace the controller's power source to ensure a steady power supply;
    4) Update the firmware version to the latest.

Wish you a happy life and smooth network usage!

  @Vincent-TP

well, my setup is a er605, then the powered switch... on the powered switch is another switch, the oc200, 650 and 670  all using poe...

looked again today, seems things on the other switch are complaining too, similar to what i posted...

do i reboot the controller, the switches, everything ?? should i put my er605 back on an autoreboot schedule ?

also lots of repetative dhcp, not sure if thats a cause or effect ??
