As from title, on the official omada site there are both SG2008 and TL-SG2008.

What is the difference?

 

Also, in some cases I see that the TL-SG2008 is also called T1500G-8T. For example on this amazon page. Why?

JetStream Series Upgraded to Omada Series

 

T1500G-8T should be discontinued for a long time. It should be stocked for a long time. And that is not Omada compatible. 

We recommend you purchase the Omada switch now. Jetstream can be considered okay if your hardware version fits the format in the link above.
