I just got a new IPv4 TD-W8980
Firmware version:0.6.0 1.5 v000e.0 Build 140408 Rel.49241n
Hardware version:TD-W8980 v1 00000000


I have some difficulty setting up the IPv4 Firewall Rules
I Want To Block a Site eg. Facebook

I have tested :

[CODE]Description LAN Host Target Schedule Rule Status
Test me Any Host Any Time Deny Enabled[/CODE]

This Works To Block all Websites nicely
But When I Try URL mode it dose not block anything

[CODE]Description LAN Host Target Schedule Rule Status
Test me FB Any Time Deny Enabled[/CODE]


FB settings is:

Mode: URL addres
Details:
www.facebook.com
facebook.com
facebook
www.facebook

Have you tried doing this by using parental control?

Hello
I have got it to work on my WR1043ND not the TD-W8980
Parental control is for 4 MAC's only i have a 20+ PC network
My DNS is 8.8.8.8 ,i don't know if this makes a difference

Is their a Tutorial? i can only find a Tutorial for the similar to WR1043ND firmware,the TD-W8980 firmware is diffrent
