Hi @Clive_A
thanks for the response.
yes the switch itself is able to be adopted no issue and able to use it. from the omada web app in desktop i'm able to see the switch with the correct icon
so its a specific issue in the ios app, not related to the web desktop app
could you point me to the place where i can subsmit a feedback for the omada ios app itself.
thank you
I saw Vincent replied to you that this model is EOL and can no longer support the icon change.
Maybe you can propose that the Omada app update its icon? There are some old models that indeed work with the Omada Controller but seems that all of them are not displayed properly on the app.
This is mainly a problem with the Omada app which seems to fail to read the device info properly.

Hi @ImranRn
Thanks for posting in our business forum.
1. This issue belongs to a controller issue where it fails to properly recognize the switch.
2. If the Omada Controller does not adopt the switch, it will display like so. It is just a regular device in the eyes of the controller.
3. Omada Controller does not support manual icon. It was submitted on the request page where you can vote for it.

hi @Clive_A
but as you can see in the post above, if i open via the omada controller in the web it shows the correct icon.
the icon is not correct when using the ios app. do i need to reset it and re-adopt it to show the correct icon for the ios app?
this is specifially for the t1500g 8t icon
thank you

No. It is a controller app failing to recognize it. You can submit to the Omada Controller app feedback.
What I am asking you right now is to learn if this switch can be adopted or not. Based on what you replied, the answer is yes?
If it can be adopted, then the Controller of the desktop version is okay. Switch is also on the proper firmware.
The problem now is on the app which seems to be obselete to regconize it. I don't think anything you do on the desktop or readopt it would make a difference.
