Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 20230330

The setup. A starlink router is broadcasting to a EAP-610 in trailer 1 just 40 meters away. The EAP-610 at trailer one is then broadcasting to EAP-610 in trailer 2  at 450 meters away. The signal strength, admittedly, is not ideal at -76dbm. According to the Omada app, I am getting 5mbs download however multiple internet speed testing website shows I am at 30mbs. If I connect EAP-610 at trailer 2 to the starlink router with -82dbm, the Omada app shows my download speed at 100mbs and the internet websites shows similiar connection speed. All connections are being made with 5ghz.

What I do not get is why do I have such poor performance when I am connecting from AP to AP and what can I do to improve this situation? Thanks

Hi  @Mattrocks

450 meters is too far away for two EAP units to build a mesh network.

You may turn to EAP215-bridge KIT.
