Model: EAP211-Bridge KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.4 Build 20240312 Rel. 33492

When I set up a few EAP211 PtP's only one of them gave me the option to build a group/lock to an EAP211 and it shows grouped under the grouped device list on the controller. All other EAP 211's are not showing a group linked unit but show up in the list of grouped items. How can I setup a new group on these EAPs? I do not see anywhere that I can assign to units to be in a group except for the initial installation. I am more frustrated that I set up a few already and the option to group was never given when adopted except for the last set that I have set up. I am using the PTPs to provide backhaul/lan to some outdoor access points. Since the bridges arent grouped my AP's keep going mesh and not using the EAPs for a "wired" lan connection. Any Help? or do I need to factory reset them and then set them back up again?

Do you want to add a new set of bridges, or do you want to add a new EAP211 bridge to an existing group?

If you want to add a third unit to the existing group, just power on the third EAP211-bridge unit, put it closer to the connected ones, it will be detected as a mesh AP, after that, you will be able to adopt it.

To ensure success, you can factory reset the third EAP.

How to reset: hold the reset hole for 6~8s. Change of LED status: All LEDs go off-> System LED lit up-> 3 signal LEDs lit up and then go off->System LED gets solid on.

I found the issue. When setting up a bridge group make sure the client side doesn't have an access point connected to it that is meshed. Once the client side has a connection it will not prompt you to assign the EAP to a group. I ended up forgetting the AP's that where meshed since I was no longer on site and then forgeting the client side EAP unit. Once it went back to pending I adopted the EAP and it allowed me to assign the group/main EAP. I then adopted the access point after the EAP client side was adopted and all was corrected. There is NO way possible to set up a group after the fact, it must be assigned during adoption.
