Failover DDNS
I just bought an ER605. I have it set up as a double WAN failover. The first line is FIOS, and if it goes down, I have a cable backup provider.
Both networks have a public - non-static - IP.
I found the DDNS settings for both lines separated, but I can not find a combined one.
I want to be able to address my network via the same DDNS no matter what network is active. I completely understand that this only makes sense in failover mode, not in load-balancing mode.
Using a DDNS software on a PC is not a solution, as it is too slow compared to a router.
The routers I used before all had such a fallback DDNS option.
Did I not find it or is there no solution?
