I turned on my SSID to connect certain devices. When I turned off the SSID the WIFI is turned off. 

 

Why would turning off the boradcast of the SSID close down the WIFI. All of my devices shut down

When we change the SSID settings, the wireless signal will restart. During this period, you will experience a disconnection, but the clients should be able to reconnect automatically.

 

 

All of you clients failed to reconnect? Or some clients reconnects?

It turns off the connection. Even with a a reboot the AP still not connection.

Does this issue persist?

 

If you search the SSID from wifi list, will you get a result?

 

In the meantime, please update the firmware version of your EAP to have a try.
