Model: EAP650
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.3

So, v1.1.3 for my EAP650 v1 units popped up on controller today in the official firmware category, not beta or release candidate.

Changelog is minimal, and seems to be missing most of the enhancements almost all other models have gotten on the controller 5.15 releases

Is this an actual 5.15 adopted firmware for these, and the release notes are just not reflecting that?

Just find it strange as we usually get betas for new controller adaptations either in forum or at least i the controller beta firmware section first.... ?

Hi  @GRL

As the release note stated, it's not adapted to 5.15 yet.

I'm not even able to install it. It fails everytime with the controller saying the EAP wasn't able to download the file. I don't get it, I can clearly see the EAP connecting on port 8043 via netstat. Firewall rules are properly in place. Haven't had that before, firmware upgrades were flawless in the past. Any ideas?

Hi  @Arne17

You may try manually update it.

1. download the firmware from TP-Link official website;

2. go to EAP config page > Manage > Browse, and upload the frmware from step 1.

If still failed, please share us a screenshot of the error message.
