CPE210 and Wifi-Multimedia (WMM) problem
Region : CzechRepublic
Model : CPE210
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version : 1.1.0 Build 20150401 Rel. 55883
ISP :
Hi all,
I have a CPE210 with lastest firmware 1.1.0 Build 20150401 Rel. 55883, working in 802.11b/g/n 300Mbps mode.
When I switch off the Wifi-Multimedia (WMM) function in Advanced Wireless Settings, some N-standard devices slowdown its connection to 802.11g mode (up to 54Mbps), for example my Samsung S4 with 150Mbps or my 300Mbps WA901ND v2 (work as client).
When I turn the WMM back to ON, they will go back to N mode (150-300Mbps).
Changing region or downgrade firmware to 1.0.0 don't resolve the problem.
I don't know if it is a bug or 802.11n standard needs WMM enabled.
Can someone confirm it?
And to developers: Can you add the "40MHz only" Channel width option in wireless setting to prevent it switch back to 20MHz mode in "20/40MHz" mode? Because all of my devices work at 40MHz mode.
Thanks,
