Hi, just curious why my router would take 5 minutes to reboot?  And are there specific settings to use for general use that I should be aware of?  I cannot find anything related to setup that makes sense or that I can fully understand.  thank you.

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

The newer firmware has optimized the bootup time. The one that adapts to the new V5.15.20.X that is released in this quarter.

The more complicated the rules you have, the longer the bootup time is.

A simple example of a complicated rule is how many subnets a rule contains.

This is just how long they take and you cant do anything to change it

I can only confirm what was told above. 5min for ER605 is standard boot time, there's nothing to do about that.

Keep in mind that the device is rather small with the least advanced components to run the system which results in startup time.
