Hi guys..... I have the following problem. I have a network managed by Omada Controller 5.14.26.1 and it is working perfectly except for the detail that I have not been able to connect an Epson L3560 printer to the network. The few times it has been linked, it loses the connection; it should be said that this did not happen to me with the previous router. Can anyone give me any ideas in this regard..... I tried to make them link via WPS but as much as I have searched in the Omada settings I cannot find how to enable it. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Sometimes the devices have an issue with both fequences (5 & 2.4GHz) under the same name. You could try to make separate WiFi network, 2.4GHz only and check if then the printer works properly.

Other thing could be the network security settings not supported by the printer.

Best Regards

RR

  @RaRu

Thanks for your reply..... What you're saying about security makes sense, because when I look at the printer log, it mentions MAC filters. They're not enabled in the network configuration, though. Thank you very much.

Hi @hvalero2001

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Since it is wireless, you should make sure 2.4GHz is a separate SSID.

And make sure the encryption for the SSID is not WPA3. It should be WPA+WPA2 which gives the best compatibility for most devices that don't support 5GHz.

This would be the most common mistake you made when creating the SSID. 2.4GHz offers the best compatibility but not for security. Avoid using any high security encryption on the 2.4GHz. No fancy settings for it as well. Then try to connect again.
