It would be best if you could show the diagram.

Simply based on the description, it could be the devices are mistakenly recognized as wireless. Some network devices may be involved and caused that.

To date, TP Link have just ignored it. I would open an actual support ticket but you would think that the support staff would take issues, particularly bugs that have been reported more than once by mulitple users, from this forum and fix them.
