Problems with connection at WiFi clients.
Good day to all.
I encountered an incomprehensible problem.
I have Omada Software Controller v5.15.20.21 and several EAP653 points with firmware v1.1.3.
The controller has one Site configured, which has 3 SSIDs at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz: two WPA-Personal, one open with authorization through the guest portal using an external RADIUS server.
When connecting to a closed network (WPA-Personal) using a password, at first everything works fine. Devices connect quickly, receive an IP address and everything works.
But after some time, for some users (on different phones: Android or iPhone) after the device has been idle (for example, a mobile phone that no one has touched for half an hour), when trying to continue working, the device shows that it is connected to WiFi, but there is no Internet. That is, the phone writes on the WiFi connection icon: "No Internet connection".
At the same time, the IP address received on the device is correct: the same one it received when first connecting to WiFi. But there is no access anywhere. Ping from the device to any host does not work, neither to external nor to internal. At the same time, the phone as a device is visible in the "Clients" section on the controller, status: "CONNECTED". But it also does not respond to ping by IP from other devices.
The problem is solved only if you turn off WiFi on the phone and turn it on again. Then everything will work right away. And so - until the next time, until the device lies idle for some time.
In the SSID settings, the "Guest Network" checkbox is not enabled.
It seems to me that this problem appeared either after updating the controller to the current version, or after updating WiFi points from the previous version of the firmware to the current one.
P.S. One person's WiFi drops out for several minutes (3-5 minutes) even with constant use of the phone. In this case, after 3-5 minutes (the phone is not overloaded and the WiFi module on the phone is not turned on/off) the Internet miraculously appears on its own and continues to work as if nothing had happened. And this happens several times a day.
