Hi  @black_azrael

Thank you so much for the info.

You mentioned that reboot the controller and the EAP units is a workaround, does that mean, after the rebooting, the wireless clients were able to pass the authentication with the same voucher code? and also they are able to access the login page fastly?

Did the issue occur again since the rebooting last time?

In the meantime, we had create a support ticket for you to further invesitgate the issue. Please kindly check your email inbox and the case ID is TKID250553558

Hi  @Leik

We can't use the voucher portal under EAP's standalone interface.

If you need both of the features,  EAP110-outdoor won't do it. You may upgrade your EAP units to the models I listed before:

Hi @Vincent-TP authorization problems appeared after the update, the problem is that if a local user logged out of the portal himself, or was unauthorized through the controller, or changed the MAC address on the device, the system does not offer to login again, and writes about the lack of Internet, the problem is both on mobile devices and on laptops, it only helps to forget Wi-Fi, and connect again, or try to go to the controller page http://хх.хх.хх.хх:8043, which also leads to a redirect to the authorization page http://хх.хх.хх.хх:8088, before the update, the controller immediately after exiting, opened the login page again

Hi  @black_azrael

Is there anything new about the portal authentication issue these days?

Hi  @Omadauser200131

Do you mean you have the same issue as denis-odessit reported?

And your portal is local user?

Is this also happening after you update the controller?

Also, did the issue occur on all of your wireless portal cilents?  What kind of clients are they? Please include their brands, model names and OS version, etc.

  @Vincent-TP

Form your previous reply, I see ZTP requires entering a DeviceKey.

You kindly attached  a picture of a EAP610 showing this device key.

I've also got a EAP610 in my lab but mine doesn't show any DeviceKey on it.

Is there a deterministic way to know, when ordering a EAP610, if the product you'll be delivered, will include or not, this DeviceKey label ?

If negative, I would highly suggest considering changing product reference (to EAP610A, EAP640v2, whatever) when any hardware feature changes, as IMHO, I think as much many of us are use to deal with product reference changes (EOL product, new products, ...), many of us we are not used, educated, equipped ou tooled to track hardware changes within a single product reference.

  @Vincent-TP

Great, it works for me with super new features. Thanks.

One Question: It is no longer possible to set the 802.1Q tag under Settings -> Internet. Where has the setting gone?

My ISP (Telekom in Germany) expects this setting to be set.

Here is a screenshot. Here is a link twith Screenshots o what I would expect to see based on the instructions: https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/735760

Controller: dies pre-release Firmware

Gateway: ER7412-M2

Thanks and greetings

Christian
